  10. 10. When taking spring water from a spring vase it is not allowed to touch the spring stand or the discharge tubes.

Thermal springs

The quality of the mineral water has remained unchanged for centuries. Karlovy Vary springs contain most elements of the periodic table, with over 40 essential elements commonly analyzed.

Karlovy Vary mineral water forms about 2,500 m below the Earth’s surface. It is available to the public at 15 springs, each differing in temperature and carbon dioxide content, giving every spring unique properties and effects. In addition to benefiting the digestive and musculoskeletal systems, the drinking cure supports overall body cleansing.

Vřídlo (Hot Spring)

The geyser of Vřídlo gushing to a height of almost 12 metres is a unique natural phenomenon that has become the symbol of spa. As the thermal water is too hot for many patients, it is distributed into five spring bowls, marked A, B, and C, in which it is cooled to a temperature of 50 and 30°C in order to be suitable for the drinking cure.
